Why choose Happy 4 Paws LLC?
For me pet sitting isn’t a side job for some extra cash, and it isn’t enough to just be an animal lover. Providing the best quality care I can to your furry family member is my life.
That's why in addition to the numerous years I spent volunteering in rescues; I've taken the time to study, grow my knowledge and gain a certificate in animal first aid & CPR and passed the Certified Professional Pet Sitter exam (CPPS). I am insured, bonded, background checked, can provide references and am delighted to be a member of Pet Sitters International who provide ongoing education to it's members and continue to raise the standards of professional pet sitting .
A BIT ABOUT ME
I developed a passion for all things furry from a young age, having been raised by a Mom who has spent her life rescuing, fostering and adopting animals in need. Growing up with numerous dogs, cats, hamsters, rats' birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses and fish, I developed an early understanding and respect for all these wonderful animals. You could say caring for animals is part of my DNA!
I continued to share my home with dogs and cats throughout my life in the UK and volunteered with various animal rescue groups such as Dogs Friends, Happily Ever After dog and cat rescue and Marg's Moggies cat rescue. I gained a great deal of knowledge from truly inspirational, kind people and experienced first hand caring for animals young and old, puppy mill dogs who had never stepped on grass or felt the touch of a kind hand, and the tricks of the trade when it came to medicating unwilling patients! Seeing those dear souls that were so scared blossom in confidence and with love and care find amazing homes is something that will always stay in my heart.
Back in the UK I provided pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family and neighbors and enjoyed it immensely. So, when I moved to the US to marry my Husband in 2018, with my Romanian rescue cat Sunny, it seemed an obvious goal for me was to set up a pet sitting business here in Gwinnett County so I could continue my passion.
Since starting my business I have undertaken training with Pet Sitters International.
I have taken countless webinars and courses and passed tests on COVID protocols, Pet CPR and First aid and Pet sitting as a career. I most recently sat and passed a 3 hour exam to become a Certified professional pet sitter (CPPS).
This was a huge achievement that few pet sitters have undertaken and I am delighted as it clearly demonstrates my knowledge and competence in professional in home pet care.
I truly hope you decide to entrust me with the care of your furry family member.
